1. Place the patient in the Fowler’s position.
2. Make sure you protect the clothing from spills.
3. Apply toothpaste on the toothbrush after moistening it.
4. Carefully brush all services within the mouth as needed.
5. Propose rinsing to the patient, and if they are unconscious, make sure you apply mouthwash with a special cloth.
6. Dry the mouth area out.
7. Report any peculiar findings, such as bleeding, to the nurse.
