The free Certified Nursing Aide training is a five-week healthcare course held at Spartanburg Community College at Union. The facility will cover all expenses for the tuition, books, uniforms, and South Carolina Board Registry. Individuals who completed the training and who passed the certification exam for nursing assistants will be offered employment at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center, which is one of the facilities of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
Interested applicants must bring a high school diploma or GED equivalent and must pass the criminal background check and health assessment screening including a drug test. They also have to read, write, and speak English, and be willing to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
