Do you want to make a difference while working? Be a Certified Nursing Assistant in New Jersey through the free CNA training program of CentraState Healthcare System. This healthcare course is offered in collaboration with Brookdale Community College, allowing graduates to work in one of the long-term care facilities of CentraState Healthcare System.
The New Jersey Department of Health approves the CNA training program, and it runs for 90 hours of instruction that combines classroom lectures, skills training, and clinical practicum. Classes are held at daytime, and it is set to start on June 27, 2018. Participants who passed the course, skills testing, and certification exam will be transitioned to a CNA position in either Applewood Estates or The Manor, two of the facilities of CentraState Healthcare System.
Individuals who want to apply in the free CNA training program must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and with a strong professional, interpersonal and organizational skills. The facility will also hire applicants who can commit at least one year of full-time commitment in CentraState Healthcare System after completing the course and passing the certification exam.
