Free CNA Classes in Boundary County, Idaho
Boundary Community Hospital in collaboration with North Idaho College is providing CNA classes four times a year in the state of Idaho. If you want to get certified as a nursing assistant, scholarships for 2018 Spring Semester are available. The CNA training program of Boundary Community Hospital is made up of 120 hours of instruction, divided into 80 hours of classroom lectures and 40 hours of clinical experience. Upon completing the healthcare course, students will become eligible for the certification exam at the North Idaho Workforce Training Center.
Individuals who are interested in the program have to be at least 16 years old and must pass the physical examination and background check conducted prior to admission. A high school diploma or a college transcript is not a prerequisite for the training. However, there are only a few seats available for every CNA training class. Thus, prospective participants have to apply as early as possible.
The CNA class runs for a couple of weeks, and classes are held at the Fry Healthcare Education Center, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM every Tuesday and Thursday.
