The program and training emphasize on the basic nursing requirements and the skills that are required to assist the residents or patients at a health care facility. MATC is one of those schools that provide a bilingual option for all those students who do not speak English. The syllabus and course of the program will prepare the students for the NNAAP (National Nurse Aide Assessment Program). The graduates become eligible to become a part of the state examination. The tuition fee of the program is $420, but it does not include textbook costs, medical exam costs, and supplies costs along with a background check and a TB test. The students will have to pay $118 for the nurse aide examination.

J. Johnson Education Center

The CNA training classes that are provided at J. Johnson Education Center have been designed to provide students with assistance in preparing for the nurse aide certification examination of the State of Wisconsin. The course includes the study of patient rights, basic restorative methods, infection control, personal care and interpersonal skills in 88 hours of attending lectures and participating in 32 hours of the clinical classes. The graduates will become eligible to attempt the examination of the state and offer exceptional care as a CNA after becoming certified. The students will have to provide a TB test, proof of flu shots at the time of their application, and also provide a background check of their criminal record.
